Collaborations
VANYL x Xavier: the alliance of fashion and jewelry art
Our collaboration with the Xavier brand is an inspired encounter between two artistic passions.
Xavier celebrates the art of craftsmanship through his exceptional jewelry, designed and crafted like true sculptures.
Each piece is modular, allowing you to create endless unique styles.
XAVIER BRAND IN A FEW WORDS
I discovered metalworking at the Beaux-Arts. With the design of pieces for architecture and furniture, I explored the resistance of fine structures made possible by the properties of metal.
And in the vastness, the smallest pieces - essential details - have always been the most exciting creations.
They were my turning point towards the meticulous.
Freed from large format challenges, I followed the desire for precision work
on the jewel. More sculptural, more delicate. The lines of my creations are born from the materialistic gesture, having it before my eyes, in my hands allows me to make it evolve.
No drawing, rather a repetition of the object until it finds its form. Its very identity.
In the permanent confrontation of two influences I seek a revealing jewel, capable of expressing character traits, a duality which creates a style (problem of unnatural formulation).
In this spirit, the meticulous care given to each ring contrasts with the raw idea of a chain.
Time is the luxury that my jewelry claims.
The time of creation, of the hand-making of unique pieces, that of a style beyond fashion and a material that lasts.
A jewel that stands the test of time and which, I hope, will be passed on.
